Offroad in Own 4X4

The Transylvanian wilderness is a paradise just waiting to be experienced by offroad enthusiasts. At Transylvania Offroad, we will guide your tour on carefully researched routes over a variety of terrain, reaching high altitudes that afford extensive mountain views, penetrating deep into ancient forest and leafy woodland, driving over rolling hills and grassland, and negotiating steep rugged areas and water. There are also opportunities to visit some of the many historical places of interest along the way, if desired.

Our offroad tours are flexible, offering wild camping with traditional Romanian dishes prepared by your guide, and a variety of accommodation and meals, depending on location.

Approximately 80% of your tour will be offroad, and Transylvania Offroad brings expertise, experience, safety and on-tour communications to ensure you enjoy the experience without concerns.
